The Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) has successfully completed its sixth edition in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, concluding another year of exceptional youth development in partnership with Samsung and Misk Skills. This year’s program drew more than 1641 applications, with 220 standout participants selected to embark on an intensive, future-focused journey designed to elevate their capabilities in Artificial Intelligence and prepare them for the rapidly evolving technology job market in Saudi Arabia and beyond.
Each edition of the Samsung Innovation Campus builds on the momentum of the last, and this year’s cohort experienced one of the most immersive and rigorous learning environments to date. Through a combination of live instruction, self-paced learning, continuous skills testing, and a final joint group capstone project, participants engaged with AI in a deeply practical and applied manner—mirroring the demands and expectations of real-world digital roles.
For young Saudis, the Samsung Innovation Campus represents far more than an educational program. It has become a bridge between aspiration and opportunity at a time when the Kingdom is transforming at unprecedented speed. As Vision 2030 fuels the rise of new digital industries and expands existing ones, Saudi youth are eager not only to participate in this transformation but to lead it. Yet the pace of change in fields like AI often leaves learners searching for experiences that offer both depth and relevance.
Many participants this year expressed how transformative the experience was for them — both technically and personally, others emphasized how working hands-on with AI tools and real projects transformed their learning experience, making it feel tangible and directly connected to real-world applications. Lojain Alzulami shared that “participating in the SIC AI program enhanced my understanding of real-world AI applications,” adding that the mentoring sessions helped her understand how to apply these skills effectively in her career. For Mays Alshamrani, the experience was both practical and motivating. “The program gave me real guidance on how to use AI in a professional and impactful way,” she said, noting that the personalized mentorship supported her growth, confidence, and commitment to continue developing her skills. Majd Alsahali echoed this sentiment, sharing that the mentoring sessions gave her clarity and direction, helping her better understand her strengths, explore new opportunities, and move forward with greater confidence in her career path.
Alongside the technical training, the Career Essentials Program became a turning point for many participants as they prepared for the job market. Through personalized counseling and practical guidance, participants gained clarity and confidence in their next steps. “The counseling session was a pivotal experience for my professional growth,” said Osama AlMousa, noting that the tailored support helped him identify areas for improvement and feel more prepared for his future career. Rifal Almohammadi shared that the program helped her “refine my goals, enhance my CV and LinkedIn profile, and gain clearer confidence in my next steps,” while Shahad Almowaled highlighted how the sessions helped her translate technical skills into a recruitment-focused professional profile and better prepare for interviews, “making a real difference in how I present myself professionally.”
Asma Aljasser, Director of Misk Skills, said: “The sixth edition of the Samsung Innovation Program builds on our commitment at Misk Skills to empower youth with the skills needed for the jobs of the future, through high-quality training experiences that combine knowledge with practical application. This partnership aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in developing human capital and enhancing the Kingdom’s competitiveness in the digital economy by preparing national talent capable of leveraging AI technologies to deliver practical solutions that create tangible impact across their career paths and various sectors.”
From his side Mr. Yong il Chang Director of Samsung Electronics Saudi Arabia said “At Samsung, we believe that true innovation is only as powerful as the people who wield it. Our commitment to Saudi Arabia goes beyond providing hardware; it is about fostering a long-term partnership that empowers the youth to lead the digital charge. By equipping these bright minds with high-level AI expertise and professional agility, we are proud to support the Kingdom’s journey toward becoming a global tech hub. This is not just an educational program—it is an investment in the architects of tomorrow.”
The continued success of SIC reflects the shared vision of Samsung and Misk Foundation: to cultivate a generation of young Saudis equipped with advanced digital capabilities and prepared to thrive in a global technology landscape. Both organizations recognize that building talent pipelines is no longer enough. The next wave of national growth depends on empowering youth with hands-on experience, industry exposure, and the confidence to step into emerging roles with readiness and ambition
